Church Notes: According to the source (Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine, 2000, v. 1, p. 362), the hospital was described at the time of Jean de Derval, seigneur de Châteaugiron during the later part of the 15th century, as "ospital et aumousnerie de Saint-Nicholas"; it is now a sculpture studio.

Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a stoup made of three pieces which have never belonged together: the basin itself is mortar-shaped and suspected to have had an earlier identity as a grain measure; the upper piece is an angel with its chin leaning on its hands.
