Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a baptismal font of the double-basin type. It is actually quite similar to the one in La Baussaine nearby, though less rich in ornamentation: the polygonal double basin has been carved out of a single block of granite, but the basins are well differentiated by a transition area on which an angel is depicted; the only other visible motif in this source [cf. supra] is a dove on each basin. The detached square columns which make up the two base supports are plain and have their corners chamfered. The same source informs that this font had been relegated to the presbitery garden for many years until, in the 20th century, they were brought back into the church by the abbé Jean Robert.
