Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Loire-Atlantique (1999) as a stoup from the ancient church, the existence of which is recorded since 1051, but believed to have existed as early as 370 A.D. The rectangular granite basin is dated by the same source [cf. supra] to the 10th-11th century.
