Church Notes: The 12th century church was replaced by a new building in 1856. The baptismal font is dated to 1853 and is an oval basin mounted on a pedestal, a common type throughout France after the 1600s (Le patrimoine des communes de la Loire-Atlantique, 1999, v. 2, p. 884)
Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Loire-Atlantique (1999) as a granite stoup of the 12th century, one of the rare vestiges of the old church. It is typical mortar-shaped object, of a general rounded form with the four knobs which make it square.
