Listed in Le patrimoine des communes du Val-d'Oise (1999) as a sort-of square basin mounted on a square pedestal base. The basin has a very peculiar shape, though generally square, with a protruding rounded shape on one of its sides; the middle has been carved out with a cherub per side (?) and the lower edge done in ball-in-socket ornamentation. The base appears of a different colour and may well have been added from another object, ornamented with vases and tape motif. The font is topped with a brass flat-domed lid, its shape as odd as that of the basin, with a cross-in-a-circle finial. The source [cf. supra] describes the material of the basin as "pierre calcaire marbrière".
