Church Notes: There is also an interesting marble pillar ornamented with a Christ-like figure and rope motif now used as a crucifix base inside the church.
Mentioned by Delcor (1973) as a plain round Romanesque stone font originally from the old church of Saint-Saturnin which disappeared during a flood (Delcor, 1973, p. 108). On-site notes: plain hemispherical basin with a central drain hole (now sealed); it has no marks or damage on the rim and is totally devoid of ornament or moulding. There is a font-like object outside the church, now being used as water trough/fountain.
