Listed in Le Patrimoine des communes de la Meuse (1999, v. 1, p. 394) as a cast-iron holy-water stoup shaped literally like an upside-down bell; it has handles with rings on the upper, broader, side and short little feet welded to the rounded bottom to help it stand. A band half-way down the sides has an inscription of David's psalm 51, verse 9. Another band, a double one, right at the bottom, has "la salutation angélique, première partie de l'Ave Maria usitée au XVe siècle." (ibid.)
