Font Notes:
Listed in Le Patrimoine des communes de l'Allier (1999, v. 2, p. 625) as a holy-water stoup from the Middle Ages shaped like a column of which the hollowed capital is actually the basin. This basin is square inside and out and has been reinforced with an iron ring which has transferred its rust to the upper stone. Three of the basin sides have foliage (?) ornamentation, one is flat and unfinished, obviously to face the wall. The stem of the column is round and plain but the base has an ornamented upper level, apparently a moulding with rings (?).
