Font Notes:
Listed in Le Patrimoine des communes de l'Allier (1999, v. 1, p. 522) as a holy-water stoup of the 17th century (the date 1677 is cerved on the lower base), an octagonal monolith with several mouldings as only ornamentation. Our source [cf. supra] informs that the stone of the stoup is so porous that the unlined stoup is known to absorve twenty liters of water per week; it now has lead lining made at the Abbaye de Sept-Fonts.
