Listed and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes de l'Allier (1999, v. 1, p. 412) as one of two holy-water stoups, located at either side of the entrance. The stoups are mortar-shaped except for the underbowl, a protrusion which would make them useless as mortars. They are mounted on columns which the source (Ibid.) reckons might be older than the stoups themselves.
