Listed and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes de l'Allier (1999, v. 1, p. 381) as a crude stoup with one side embeded in the exterior wall of the church; the front sides of the basin is rounded and the other two sides straight and parallel. The only interesting aspect of this stoup is, if the source is accurate, that it is (?) destined ("est destiné") for the sick with contagious illnesses, "en particulier aux lépreux", who are not allowed to enter the church. [NB: it is not clear from the source whether or not this annotation is directed to this specific stoup or it is meant as a general comment on external stoups -- to be confirmed]
