Church Notes: church listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00078618]: "Cloître du 12e siècle, démoli au 18e siècle, redécouvert dans la seconde moitié du 20e siècle. Eglise des 12e et 13e siècles, restaurée au 19e siècle. La propriété du cloître (anciennement propriété de l'Etat, ministère de la culture) a été transférée à la commune le 1er juin 2007."
Listed in Enlart (1902) as a Romanesque holy-water stoup dated to the 13th century; its inner well has a quatrefoiled shape. Mentioned also in Enlart's later work (1925-1928). The present font in this church is listed in Palissy [ref.: IM51001025] as probaly dated to the re-building of this church in 1795: "La cuve circulaire est en marbre rouge veiné blanc. Elle est garnie de son bassin en cuivre. Le couvercle est en bois peint en faux-marbre, l'extrémité est doré [...] Hauteur approximative de la cuve et du couvercle : 105 cm ; d=75 [...] manque le pied d'origine." [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 12th-century church here].
