Font Notes:
Listed in Enlart (1902, p. 785 footnote 1) as a holy-water stoup dated by an inscription to 1527. [NB: the transcription of the name "Herluis" in Enlart could be wrong; this could possibly be WARLUS, earlier known as Guarluis / Guarlus / Guerini locus / Warluis]. A holy-water stoup in this church is mentioned in an article in La Voix du Nord [http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/archive/recup%3A%252Fregion%252Fl-eglise-de-warlus-decouvre-ses-atouts-et-le-chateau-ia29b6522n1547269] [accessed 16 July 2017] but must be a different one as it is described in this source as "un bénitier octogonal affiche sa date de naissance 1606 encadrant l’inscription « IHS »", and being in the porch of the church. [NB: access to this church is limited: "Fermée en permanence, l’église n’ouvre ses portes que pour trois messes et les journées du patrimoine."]
