The present font of this church is modern [cf. infra]; the church itself was re-built in 1725, but the earlier church here is noted in the Bulletin de la Société pour la conservation des monuments historiques d'Alsace, vol. 1 (1856-1857): 254: "église régionale de Feldkirch, entre Ober- et Niedernai, église qui devint par la suite un prieuré, et dont les derniers restes ont disparu il n'ya qu une vingtaine d'années". [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here]. [cf. Index entry for Ungersheim]. The current font here is listed in Palissy [référence IM68003733], as a stone font of the late-19th century by Louis Barta [full dossier on this late font at http://notices-patrimoine.region-alsace.eu/noticespdf/im68003733.pdf]. There may have been an intermediary sandstone font of the 16th century here, according to one of the sources [cf. bibliography].
