Chalice-shaped font listed in Le Patrimoine des communes du Haut-Rhin (1998, v. 2, p. 1159) as being from the early 17th century. The hemispheric basin has a band around its upper side with an inscription [only the letters "KC are readable in our source]. The underbowl has large leaf motif all around and the round pedestal base has foliage motif all over. The dome wooden cover, probably of the same date, has a finial with the Baptism of Christ by John the Baptist. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM68001532]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Grès : taillé [...] 1626".
