Baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: IM68005442]: "Fonts baptismaux datés sur le pied de 1621, restaurés en 1869 [...] Grès ; bois : peint [...] H = 150 [...] Date (gravée) [...] Restauré". Listed in Le Patrimoine des communes du Haut-Rhin (1998, v. 1, p. 436): polygonal basin in two volumes, both with their sides ornamented with roses; t. The base has two volumes as well: the upper is a plain polygonal shaft; the lower is polygonal but somewhat rounded, almost like a bulb, and has the date inscribed on two sides of it; stands on a small square plinth. The wooden cover, which probably dates to the 19th century restoration of the font, has its dome painted and ornamented with rosettes similar to the ones on the font; ball finial with eyelet to hook it to a lifting device [not connec ted now].
