Sandstone font of 1671 in this church listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67010537]: "Fonts baptismaux [grès] sur pied, de section octogonale datés 1671 provenant sans doute de l'ancienne église [...] Décor : motifs géométriques, IHS [...] Dans sa partie supérieure, les noms des édiles : Johannes Weiss Schultheiss, Johannes Claussmar und Peter Heimburger Beteborg. Signe lapidaire avec initiales HR, et emblème de métier : tonnelier." Noted in the Patrimoine..., Bas-Rhin ( 1999, v. 2, p. 1545): "le nom du prévôt de l'époque, [...] d'une marque de tâcheron, du monogramme du Christ, ainsi que d'un emblème de tonnellier, allusion à la vocation viticole de Marlenheim." The long underbowl panels have large ring motifs and the stem of the base has two mouldings but is otherwise plain. The cover is a metal dome with a curious Trinity finial: three circles together, one contains the cross of Christ, another the dove of the Holy Ghost and the top circle the Hand of God .
