Baptismal font of the 12th century believed to be originally from the medieval [12th-century] parish church [Protestant] at Mundolsheim, listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: IM67010815]: "Cuve baptismale circulaire en forme de baquet posée sur 4 pieds. Le Patrimoine des communes du Bas-Rhin (1999) reports the presence of an ancient tub-shaped sandstone basin in the garden of private house in Mundolsheim; the basin is almost cylindrical slightly wider at upper part, and has, at the lower part, had cut four round arches, thus giving the impression of standing on legs; just above these arches, a band of double-rope motif all around the basin; there is another band of ornamentation, this one of tight wavy-line motif, right below the rim.
