Pedestal octagonal font date by an inscription on the rim of the basin to 1698. The octagonal basin has Christ's initials on one of the sides and others (illegible in the source) on the other sides. The stem of the base is a plain, slender cylindrical shaft and the lower base is, like the basin, octagonal. (Patrimoine..., Bas-Rhin, 1999, v. 1, p. 682)
