Octagonal (?) holy-water stoup in sandstone. The front side has, on the upper part, an inscription with the date 1598; below it thee is a shield which bears a single six-point star. The source (Patrimoine..., Bas-Rhin, 1999, v. 1, p. 681) reports it as being probably the coat of arms of one of the many noble families of the town, but unknown.
