Church Notes: The present church is from the 15th century.
The hemispheric basin of this font is dated by the source (Le Patrimoine des communes du Bas-Rhin, 1999, v. 1, p. 562) to the 13th century and is said to have come from the earlier church of which only the base of the bell tower survived. The basin has ribbed motif covering all of the sides and underbowl. The rounded column base, which has two volumes of fluted design separated by a torus in the middle, is of later date, as are the minuscule square plinth and the domed lid resembling a Jell-O pudding topped by a cross finial.
