Pedestal octagonal font in sandstone of the early 17th century (Le patrimoine des communes du Bas-Rhin, 1999, v. 1, p. 370). The profuse ornamentation, mostly foliage, is divided in three levels: the basin, with medalion-like centres in which there are angel heads and one which has "un baptême bourgois" represented in it; the second level has foliage and geometric motifs, and the third and lower level has large foliage bulges. The font is covered by a wooden (?) domed lid brightly painted in white, green and gold.
