Listed by Enlart (1902) as an ancient grain measure later adapted as holy-water stoup in the church. Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) simply as a 13th century stoup. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM22000437]: "bénitier [...] granite [...] 13e siècle [...] Auge à blé servant de bénitier [...] C'était probablement de la mesure de blé que la commune payait en redevance à l'église [...] inscription : HC MESURA BLADI NQ PITU (FACE EXTERIEURE)." The entry for this church in InfoBretagne [www.infobretagne.com/brelevenez-eglise.htm] [accessed 22 September 2020] notes: "Un Bénitier "praebendarium", ancienne mesure de blé qui correspond au boisseau de froment, mesure de Lannion, qui servait au paiement des rentes et devait se trouver soit hors de l'église soit au château du Cruguil. L'inscription qu'il porte prècise bien cette destination : "H (A) E (C) ME (N) SURA BLADI N (UN) QUAM PERI (TURA)" (Cette mesure de blé ne devra jamais être détruite)."
