17th century bucket-shape holy-water stoup of the type common in Burgundy; below the wide rim there are several raised lines parallel to the rim and base, and five protruding human heads with round eyes; there is also a date "1650", the anagram of Jesus' name and the name of Vincent Bouchet [the donnor?] on its side. The stoup, which is identified in the source as being made of cast iron and tin, is mounted on a plain limestone cylindrical pedestal. (Patrimoine…, Nièvre, 1999, v. 1, p. 153)
