Noted and illustrated in La Mairie de Revest-les-Roches [https://revest06.fr/patrimoine-2/] [accessed 12 April 2025]: "Bénitier. Pierre sculptée représentant un visage date du XIIe-XIIIe siècle. Le décor de cet objet invite les fidèles, qui à l’époque étaient en majorité analphabètes, à prendre de l’eau bénite pour se signer en entrant dans l’église."
