Font at 'Hansbrouck' [sic] mentioned in L. Cloquet in Travaux des sociétés savantes, Revue de l'Art chrétien (p. 419): "Citons avec le chanoine Corblet les cuves de Herckenradt, Hoesselt, Hansbrouck (Limbourg) [...]" The actual entry in Corblet's Histoire dogmatique, liturgique et archéologique du sacrement de baptême, vol. 2, 1881-1882, chapter 3 is: "Il y a aussi des fonts baptismaux remarquables à Herckenrode, Hoesselt, Honsbroeck (Limbourg), Lixhe Fonts de Munster-Bilsen (province de Liège), Maëstricht, Munster-Bilsen (Limbourg), Zillebèke (Flandre-Occidentale), Zutphen (Gueldre), etc." In a communication with BSI (e-mail of 15 October 2021) Pol Herman notes that "There is no Honsbroeck in Limbourg, but there is a Hoensbroek in Limburg. In the Netherlands." Pol Herman (ibid.) further notes that in the “Monumenten van Geschiedenis en Kunst in Zuid-Limburg (1962), Volume 1, Paragraph “Zuid-Limburg uitgezonderd Maastricht”, page 270” [https://www.rijckheyt.nl/rubriek/gebouwen-en-andere-bouwwerken?page=4] [accessed 13 October 2021] J.F. van Agt gives a detailed inventory of the art objects in the churches of Hoensbroek. The new Roman-Catholic church St. John the Evangelist has a square hard-stone baptismal font from the 17th century; it comes from the still existing OLD church with the same name. He does not mention the baptismal fonts of the other 2 churches in Hoensbroek."
