Corblet (1881-1882: v. 2, 73) informs that there are "quelques antiquaires" who identify as a baptistery "un édicule de forme ronde, munis de bas-côtés, avec quatre absidioles orientées aux quatre points cardinaux". Lasteyrie (1929: 276, 280) does not believe this place was ever a baptistery, especially because no trace has ever been found there of any sort of piscina for the purpose. Listed in Bond (1908: 20), after Enlart. [NB: the building stands now with a baptismal font [modern?] in the centre of the baptistery (?) area -- notes and an image of this site are available at http://architecture.relig.free.fr [accessed 11 April 2025]
