On-site notes: a barrel-like font located in one of the side apses of the baptistry building. The shape and design are of an early type, but it lacks ornamentation with the exception of the horizontal bands which imitate the hoops of a barrel, and is therefore difficult to date. It does suggest an 11th-century dating [cf. Index entry for Venasque No. 3 for a very similar object in another baptistery]
