Corblet states that "l'ancienne chapelle de Saint-Jean, dite aujourd'hui [i.e., ca. 1881] de Saint-Sauveur", the same which now houses the 16th [17th?] century font, occupies a part of the site of the old baptistery which is said to have been built on a circular plan. (Corblet, 1881-1882, v. 2, p. 59-60)
