The patrimony section of the Saint-Jean-le-Vieux web site [https://www.saintjeanlevieux.fr/spip.php?article29] [accessed 9 September 2017] by Bernadette Cadoux notes: "On ne sait rien de la pierre baptismale creusée en demi sphère située dans le fond de l’église, ni du bénitier en pierre reposant sur une meule trouée, sinon qu’il sont sans doute les éléments les plus anciens de l’église."
