Noted and illustrated by Léo Drouyn (1858) and later in Van Drival (1878). Described and illustrated in Corblet (1881-1882) -who uses Drouyn's woodcut of 1858- as an unmounted square font; the sides of the basin have a double round arch, the space above the arches ornamented with quatrefoils; the well of the basin appears round. The Mérimée database [réf. PM33000472] describes this font as being in the Romanesque style and dates it to the 12th century [NB: the church building is listed in the Mérimée database [ref. no.: PA00083526] as originally of the 11th or 12th century -south portal with historiated capitals- and renovated and expanded in the 16th and 19th centuries]
