Parker (1855) remarks: "There is a fine D[ecorated] font, which is not used, a common slop-basin being substituted." The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TM0570478209] notes: "Parish church. C14, altered C15, vestry added late C16, C16 tower refaced in late C18 at expense of R. Holt. Repaired 1850 with late C19 and early C20 alterations [...] C14 octagonal font, raised on a step, simple stem, masks at bases of bowl faces of which have crocketed gables with varying tracery, intermediate shafts, brattished head". The basin has crenellation motif at the upper rim; the panels of the ocragonal basin are ornamented with crocketed pinnacles which have quatrefoil motifs and/or tracery in the spandrels; the lower rim of the basin has a head at each angle; some of the heads are normal human, some grotesque human, one at least is of a fabulous animal or monster, feline with pointed ears. The base, by contrast, is plain except for the engaged shafts at the angles of the octagon; the lower base has, like the underbowl, graded moulding. The wooden (?) base is octagonal, flat and plain; modern.
