Church Notes: earlier extramural church documented 13thC; demolished 1488; present intramural church 15thC -- listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00089076]: "15e siècle ; 16e siècle ; 19e siècle"
On-site notes: the basin of this font (?) is almost identical to the one listed in this index as "Dinan No. 5" and is found in the same church; like that one, it has an octagonal basin with a broad double rim at top; below it, large acanthus flowers cover the basin sides. The base of this one appears to be an architectural remnant of another part of the church and is certainly not the original. Both these fonts (?) are now used as stoups.
