On-site notes: this may be a large granite stoup, although it is the size of a font (with the plinth included it is 130 cm tall!). It has an octagonal basin, plain except for four thin horizontal mouldings below the rim. The underbowl tapers in to meet the round upper ring of the base; there is short cylindrical column underneath and then the rest is square, widening out towards the bottom.
