The joined basins have been carved from a single block of granite, its corners trimmed off to make it octagonal at the top but, under the rim, the basins are shaped as octagons joined at the inner side; the sides corresponding to the long sides of the rectangle have three Ogee arches and one rosette; the narrow sides have crosses; the sides resulting from the chamfered corners have Ogee arches except one which has a chalice; the base, made of two blocks, and possibly of later manufacture, has molding ornamentation. The flat wooden cover is modern.
