Vivier-Seguin (1941) describe this font, and the one at Champcervon, as rectangular, with the angles trimmed, and having the chamfer finish directly on the lower base, also square, without the presence of any pedestal; they (ibid.) note the presence of a shell and a cross on two sides of the lower base and that of oval motifs on the chamfer faces.
