Vivier-Seguin (1941) report that this granite font had been left out in the cemetery, to the south of the church, until the abbé Martin placed it near one of the side doors; the basin is octagonal with tall chamfered plates which rest on the base (one of them has a cross engraved on it; the base has a single torus; the lower base is square. The entry for this church in Wikimanche [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Saint-Pair_(Marcey-les-Grèves)#cite_ref-Caoa_4-0] [accessed 31 March 2025] reports that the 17th-century font is back inside the church: "Les fonts baptismaux en granite bouchardé, datent du 17e siècle; découverts en 1932 devant l'entrée de l'église, ils sont replacés à l'intérieur en 1957"
