Vivier-Seguin (1941) describes this font as a rather original polygonal (7 sides?) basin mounted on a short cylindrical column with a single torus at top. They report Le Héricher's description as a possible Romanesque heptagonal font but state that it probably originates after the extensive renovations carried out in this church in the 16th century.
