Vivier-Seguin (1941) describe this font as chalice-shaped and made of limestone: a large hemispherical basin with two parallel grooves as the only ornament; the base is a broad column resting on a lower base which is round, with flagstones arranged in a radiant. V-S suggest that this may have been a Gothic font originally on a 5-column support base recarved in the 17th or 18th century. They report a wooden cover of four scroll holding up a globe.
