Vivier-Seguin (1941) found this elegant font with a small hemispheric basin whose rim is neatly ornamented with an oval pattern among the rubble of the ruined church of Saint-Louis ca. 1941; the tall base has a single torus in the middle; traces of paint, blue, yellow and red were still visible. V-S wished the font had been removed to the new church to be used as a stoup and thus saved from the damage outside.
