Described by Vivier-Seguin (1941) as a rectangular font, totally plain except for a horizontal groove and a raised moulding on the basin sides; dated to the 17th century. The entry for this church in Wikimanche [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Notre-Dame_(Champcey)] [accessed 16 September 2023] mentions a font made of granite and its wooden cover in this 12th-century church ["L'église est construite au 12e siècle [...] fonts baptismaux à double cuve de granite et couvercle de bois"].
