Although Pigeon had mentioned a double font at Buais in ca. 1887, by the time of Vivier-Seguin's work in ca. 1941, the font had been replaced by a modern one (Vivier, 1941). The entry for this church in Wikimanche [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Sainte-Anne_(Buais)] [accessed 28 March 2025] reports and illustrates also a 17th-century holy-water stoup in the new church; it is made of granite and is decorated with a soldier and a cross: "un bénitier (17e s.) en granit sculpté orné d'une croix et d'un soldat" [NB: actually an abbot or bishop]. The stoup is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM50000152]: "Bénitier [...] Pierre [...] The stoup is illustrated in [ref.: AP50W00068].
