Vivier-Seguin (1941) describe this font as having a rectangular basin mounted on two rectangular pillars; the basin is double inside, without any external sign of it; the only ornamentation noted is the slight trimming of the basin corners, moulding in the chamfer and a large perle motif at the capitale of the base pillars. The entry for this church in Wikimanche [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Saint-Jean-Baptiste_(Saint-Jean-du-Corail)#cite_note-Caoa-3] [accessed 28 March 2027] reports a 16th-century font in it: "fonts baptismaux à double cuve moulurée, sur deux colonnes datent du 16e siècle".
