Vivier-Seguin (1941): double font of uneven sides, the larger octagonal while the smaller is hexagonal, but they share identical ornamentation, the main element of which is a significant torus in rope form around the "waist" of the fonts; the fonts are narrower in their middle, where the rope motif appears to tie them together. V-S point that, although the simplicity of design of this font makes it match the Romanesque church in which is housed and made Regnier accept it as Romanesque itself, they argue that the font should be dated to the 16-17th cent., and most probably to the year 1602 or thereabouts, when "le curé Jean Brouault a entrepris quelques travaux de réfection" in this church (Vivier, 1941). The entry in the Dictionnaire des églises dates this font to the 16th century.
