Vivier-Seguin report this font as already disappeared [by ca. 1941] and use Le Héricher's description: granite basin probably of later date than the base whose ornamentation it apes rather unsuccessfully; L-H reckoned the base as Romanesque, a square limestone block with attached colonnettes which lacked both capitals and bases; on the sides there were carved figures under floral motifs and pine cones (Vivier, 1941) [NB: the old font may have been destroyed in the 19th-century fire that burned down the old church].
