This is not the font in use at present, which is described and illustrated in the Wikimanche entry for this church [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Saint-Georges_(Saint-Jores)] [accessed 26 March 2025]: "La cuve baptismale présente la particularité d'être la coquille d'un mollusque géant provenant de Tahiti. Le support est en fer forgé et l'ensemble fut dessiné par Bisslier, décorateur à Paris."
