Vivier-Seguin (1941) report two fonts in the parish church at Genêts; this one, Gothic, made of granite and octagonal at both the basin and the base; the basin sides are ornamented with a blind arcade of Ogee arches, two per side, and, at two opposite corners, human masks/faces of rather crude manufacture; right under one of these is the side drain of the basin (a/p Vivier, 1941 ill. and notes)
