Described in Vivier-Seguin as a plain square basin, large but shallow, supported on a central column and four corner colonnettes; the latter have their capitals in the body of the basin, the capitals being three with leaf shapes and one rough; the bases of the columns have torus but these are also carved into the plinth (Vivier, 1941). Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM50005672]: "Les fonts datent de la fin du 12e siècle ou du début du 13e siècle. La cuvette a été ajoutée au 18e siècle [...] Calcaire : taillé ; plomb [...] Cuvette semi-circulaire et couvercle en plomb muni d'un trou central [...] H = 96, l = 82, la = 28 (fonts) ; h = 25,5 (cuve) ; l = 33, la = 21 (intérieur) [...] Bas-côté nord, côté ouest
