Noted and illustrated in Vivier (1941). Square mounted font, not very dissimilar to the ones at Muneville-le-Bingard and St-Patrice-de-Claids: square basin with carved nooks resembling a Romanesque arcade, this one has circle motif on the lower part; like those other fonts, the supporting base consists of a massive central column, with four constructional corner colonnettes, in this case the capitals are open like leaves where they meet the underbowl, otherwise with astragals and bases; the whole rests on a square plinth. Noted in the entry for this church in Wikimanche [https://www.wikimanche.fr/Église_Saint-Jean-Baptiste_de_Lastelle_(Le_Plessis-Lastelle)] [accessed 23 March 2025]: "La chapelle sud (même si le terme de chapelle peut être discuté) abrite : les anciens fonts baptismaux [...] du 12e siècle". There is no cover present but the damaged side shows a metal anchoring for an earlier font. [cf. BSI entry for Plessis]
