Vivier-Seguin (1941), after Renault, describe and illustrate the font as rectangular; the basin is plain except for a horizontal moulding about 2/3 down the sides and four heads, at the angles, just below it. The base is made up of five columns: one broad and plain at the centre and four colonnettes adorned with a torus abouth half-way up and square bases. The whole rests on a square plinth. The entry for this church in the French Wikipedia [https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorges_(Manche)#cite_note-29] [accessed 23 March 2025] reports "des fonts baptismaux du XIIe".
