Vivier-Seguin (1941), after Renault, describe and illustrate the font as rectangular; the basin is plain except for a horizontal moulding about 2/3 down the sides and four heads, at the angles, just below it. The base is made up of five columns: one broad and plain at the centre and four colonnettes adorned with a torus abouth half-way up and square bases. The whole rests on a square plinth.
